On Wikipedia there is a "List of Unitarian Universalists", but it seems to be wrong as it is now, because it throws together Unitarians, Universalists and Unitarian Universalists in one list. As I see it, the list should be divided into three parts, according to which denomination the persons themselves belonged to. Anyone willing to help in the sorting? --Palnatoke 15:49, 31 Oct 2004 (CST)
- I think this would better be done on wikipedia. See Main Page for some new info on what UUWiki is about, contrasted with uu pages at wikipedia.
- I see this list of UUs as an encyclopedic endeavor, not an activist endeavor, so I think it belongs there not here. Note also that the links, which originally pointed to wikipedia pages on each of these people, now point to "new pages" just begging to be edited, which would be a waste. Also, clicking on each person is a great way to try to figure out how to categorize them. We also shouldn't expect to just dump the result back on wikipedia - into the lap of a distinct community without the benefit of the history of changes made here. Wikipedia is where it started and where the history of edits is and where there are more people involved. Make sense? --NealMcB 14:33, 1 Nov 2004 (CST)
- It is true that the job is to be done on Wikipedia. I do think, however, that *we* are the persons best suited to do it. I will take Scott's list of Universalists and import into Wikipedia, and then let this page stay here as an alert. --Palnatoke 03:33, 2 Nov 2004 (CST)
