Each year the UUA decides on a new Study Action Issue (SAI) which congregations are urged to study and act on for a two-year period, leading to a proposal for a Statement of Conscience to be voted on at General Assembly.
Proposals for future Study Action Issues can be made by any congregation or district, and must be sent to the Commission on Social Witness by December 15 of each year.
