== Policy Based Governance A Resource for Unitarian Universalist Congregations ==
Developed by John Carver, Policy Governance addresses numerous board conundrums—interminable meetings, overloaded agendas, vague accountability, micromanagement, and loss of vision! Policy Governance® is the registered service mark of John Carver. The authoritative website for the Policy Governance model can be found at Carver Governance.
While Unitarian Universalist congregations have studied and used the concepts of Policy Governance® developed by John and Miriam Carver, they have adapted it to their circumstances, and so these applications cannot be deemed Policy Governance.
